Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before booking your event with us.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Essex Cocktail Co. By securing a booking, the client agrees to the following:

1. Booking & Deposit

  • To secure your event date, a £100 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
  • Your event date is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
  • The deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellation by the client.

2. Payment Terms

  • The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 7 days prior to the start of your event.
  • Failure to make full payment within this timeframe may result in cancellation of your booking, and the deposit will not be refunded.

3. Nature of Service – Dry Bar Only

  • Essex Cocktail Co. provides a dry bar service only.
  • We do not supply or sell alcohol for any event.
  • The client is solely responsible for the purchase and provision of all alcohol required for the event.
  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure all necessary permissions, licences, or venue approvals relating to alcohol are obtained.

4. Equipment & Stock Ownership

  • Essex Cocktail Co supplies and retains ownership of: purées, syrups, ice, fruit & garnishes, bar equipment, and tools.
  • All Essex Cocktail Co. property, unused stock, and equipment will be removed by our team at the conclusion of the event.

5. During Service

  • Essex Cocktail Co will maintain a clean and organised working environment throughout service.
  • We are responsible only for our own equipment and property.
  • We are not responsible for the venue, venue property, or any damages unrelated to Essex Cocktail Co. equipment or staff actions.

6. Conclusion of Event

  • At the end of the event, Essex Cocktail Co will clear down and tidy the bar working area and remove all company-owned equipment and supplies.
  • All rubbish will be left for the client to dispose of.
  • While we will leave the working area clean and tidy, indoor venues may require additional mopping following service.

7. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide safe and suitable access to the venue.
  • Ensure adequate space is available for bar setup and service.
  • Provide access to power and water if required (to be agreed in advance).
  • Provide suitable shelter for outdoor events (if required).
  • Ensure appropriate licensing requirements are met for alcohol consumption at the event.

8. Liability

  • Essex Cocktail Co. accepts no liability for alcohol supplied by the client, guest behaviour, or damage to venue property not caused directly by our staff.
  • Any damages caused directly by Essex Cocktail Co. staff through negligence will be addressed appropriately.

9. Acceptance of Terms

  • Payment of the deposit confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
